I read the English edition. This is a picture book illustrated by Cedric Lucas. Neville is a little Jamaican boy who earns a dollar a day by supplying crabs to 'The Crab Man.' When he inadvertently discovers that the crabs are being abused for the amusement of tourists, he rescues some of them and of course loses his job. Gives another view of Jamaica to those who have seen only the tourist attractions.
