M.L. Liebler's book WIDE AWAKE IN SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAM is a short collection of political poems, taking its readers on a journey through three different nations - Russia, Germany, and Jerusalem - that ultimately leads to a section of poems centered on the notion of sleep and dreams (death, possibly?). The poems, as a whole, while very political, are very centered on identity and what it means to hold a nationalism.
