Did you ever hear about a book with a great idea and think why didn't I think of that? Than you pick it up and realize that it was so brilliantly executed that you could never have nearly that clever so just sit back and laugh your head off? That is pretty much how you'll feel if you pick up "Weddings of the Times."

Recommends it for:
broadminded people already familiar with wedding announcements.
A comedy group (The Kasper Hauser Comedy Group) pokes fun at New York Times wedding announcements. Pictures of models as the couples accompany each announcement. There are even special sections--in color-- of tips and related guides. Entries are laugh-out-loud funny. Others are quite naughty, but never mean-spirited.

I would rate this book, but in order to do so I would have to give it 1 star. It was absolutely TERRIBLE! I don't recommend anyone read or buy it. It is a complete waste of time. It is supposed to be a funny and I wanted to cry rather than laugh.
