I bought this book for the $2 cover price years ago in Cincinnati at the New World Bookshop, in Clifton. I lived around the corner in an old, high-ceilinged apartment. One day at the shop, Polly Burnell gave me a spare copy of the SPD catalog, and I spent rapt evenings browsing through the pages, trying to narrow down the choices that my budget would allow.
