Nick Bollettieri clearly knows his tennis. Having coached hundreds of players, including Agassi, Seles, and Sharapova, he's earned the right to write a big tome on tennis. His book covers everything from life at his academy and the future of the industry, to fundamental skills, court strategy, sports psychology, and nutrition. The book is well written. Desired sections are easy to find and others are easy to skim. You can tell he's an expert at describing techniques like grip and swing motion in ...more
This book is a necessity to have for people who are serious about tennis. Mr. Bollettieri not only gives you his tips on how to become a tennis champion for players, but he also includes information for coaches and even parents. This book has it all and is not to miss for the game of tennis.
Great book, but better if you are already familiar with tennis and looking to teach it to others. Less effective to newbies with all the technical discussion and few diagrams and photos.
