The Man In The Hat
Babylon 5 was at its unrivalled best when JMS was writing it during the middle years. When other writers tried their hand at crafting an episode, it never really reached the heights it was capable of (with one or two possible excpetions). And the same appears to be true of Rising Stars.
This TPB contains two mini-series that are spun off from JMS's Rising Stars series but they are both written by other writers and neither of them are that good.

Voices of the dead was really interesting and well written but I think it failed to take into account the end of the main story arc - the 24 hour after the last event with the specials. I think that moment would have affected things more than was let on in the story. Overall this one was better than Bright.

Bright fleshes out the Mathew Bright story, which is fine. He's maybe just too much of a goody two shoes for me. Maybe I am just not that enamored of cops. Who knows. Mostly OK story but the r

Another unnecessary prequel series released to continue tto milk the golden cow (like Before Watchmen, but even more superfluous). Adds nothing of particular interest to the series.
Fantastic series. Much like the television series "Heroes".
