David R. High’s Kings & Priests reminds us of an ideal worship scenario that was put into effect after David became king. This notion of full-time ministers vs. a supporting cast of lay people was really God’s idea given to Moses after the Exodus from Egypt. The LORD appointed the Levites in Numbers 1:50 to attend to the Tabernacle.
