All of Me is the fourth book in the Wedding Veil Wishes series. I laughed, I cried and experienced every emotion in between. All of me was a book that was so well written that I just did not want to put it down. Jillian and Tucks emotions were so complex, it was hard to figure out if they were going forgive each other or start throwing punches. Their witty comments to each other had me laughing so hard, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The characters in the book were so well developed and the plot l...more

"All of Me" is Lori Wilde's fourth and last book in her 'Wedding Veil Wishes' series. Like the other books in this series, Wilde mixes humor and sadness, joy and despair, and always, disbelief vs love. This last book had me smiling, laughing, sniffling, and crying. Both characters had their hearts badly scarred by love, but both did get their happy ending and I enjoyed reading about their journey.

Jillian is the realist. She doesn't believe in fairy-tale love. She believes in the fight and the la...more

Tuck was a dedicated husband and a big name in architecture when his life fell apart with the loss of his wife. Jillian has a reputation as something of an "ice queen". Her lonely childhood spent with a resentful step-mother after losing both of her parents at a young age has left her bitter about love and emotionally reserved. Now Jillian finds herself in Salvation, CO looking for...what else..."salvation". Only when she shows up at the home that she has inherited after the loss of her mentor a...more

This is my first by Lori Wilde, and I just happened to see this book sitting on the shelf in my library and I didn't have much else to read so I just picked it up. Of course, I didn't know it was the fourth in a series, but I didn't feel like I was missing too much information or backstory.

The story was very touching, and at times I did want to slap a character every once in awhile but it was only because I was anxious for the hero and heroine to get their happily ever after.

Every once in awhil...more

I threw the book across the room and my husband looked over at me and said, "That bad, huh?". WTF kind of ending was that?!?!?!

Yeah, well this book wasn’t for me. I was expecting a love/hate story and what I got was a water downed version of “should I or shouldn’t I” from the widowed hero and “why can’t I be loved” from the heroine. Not to say that they’re whiners, but I just felt like the story was going in a circle. The book needed more development to get things moving along.

The back blurb gives the impression that this is a love/hate story which it sort of is but love/hate “lite”. The h/h go from disliking each other...more

This is the fourth and final installment in the Wedding Veil Wishes series. Jillian is the remaining single in her group of four college friends. Each of the other three have donned the "magic wedding veil" and seen an image of their true love. They have all married and have children or are expecting. Jillian does not believe in magic and thinks the veil is just silly. When her life starts to fall apart, in a fit of grief, she puts the veil on and makes a wish. The resulting dream sta...more

WOW such a gut wrenching book. Initially I read this book because it got good reviews from other GR members. So I started reading the series from the first book (this book is the last) and was not impressed with the initial three books. You can definitely read this book as a stand alone and skip the other three.

Jillian the last of the four friends to find love Not only has she not found love but she is a skeptic in the romance department. Jillian has never felt love, given love, but everything...more

All of Me was the final book in the Wedding Veil Wishes series and it made it count! Lori Wilde really put her heart into this one and kept you guessing! There was nothing predictable about it, (other than the reoccurring tale of the veil)

A once wealthy widower who poured his fortune into his wife's health was a broken man after his death... An Assistant District Attorney who must leave her position in order to maintain her dignity from her douchey boss in Houston... How will they come together?...more

'All of Me' is the final book in Lori Wilde's 'Wedding Veil Wishes' series and it was on par with the others.

In this book the last of the four friends, lawyer Jillian Samuels, finds her true love after wishing on the mysterious wedding veil. The hottie is Tuck Manning, a former architect still grieving the loss of his young wife to cancer.

It is an enjoyable read using the same formula as the first three books. In fact, my only complaint is it was a little too similar in the last love scene. As...more

I gave this book a 5 stars, another one of Lori's great reads I enjoyed it.

Attorney Jillian Samuels doesn't believe in true love and never, ever wished for happily ever after. But when a searing betrayal leaves her jobless and heartbroken, a newly inherited cottage in Salvation, Colorado, seems to offer a fresh start. What she finds when she arrives shocks her: the most gorgeous and infuriating man she's ever met is living in her home!

Loved this book by Lori Wilde! It was funny, heartwarming, and almost brought me to tears a few times. Continuously entertaining. Jillian and Tuck were characters I fell in love with right away and I rooted for them to get their happily-ever-after. (It took them awhile, but they got it). Good job, Lori! :-)

While I was unhappy with the loss of the other three members of Jillian's group of friends, I enjoyed her story. It was a good read and a nice way to end the quartet of books. Not the best I have ever read, but not a disappointment, either.

Didn't realize it was the last in a four book series. Ms. Wilde ties in the other three books without the reader feeling lost. This story easily stands on its own. Not sure if I want to read the other three.

The fourth book in the Wedding Veil Wishes series. Main character is a lawyer and her mentor suddenly dies from a brain tumor. In his will he leaves her a house on the lake in Colorado. Only problem is that its also deeded to his dead daughter's husband.

This was a really great book. The only thing I didn't like was the hokey magic stuff & the fact that there wasn't enough sex & kissin'! There definitely should have been more sex & kissin :)

I like this author. I've read a few of the other books that are in this series, and I like the small town / close-knit community feel they all have.

A great rom-com.

right off the bat the tone of the main characters annoyed me. I have so many books waiting to be read that I decided to just abandon this one...

Not my favorite of the series but I still enjoyed it. I got irritated with Tuck constantly comparing Jillian to Aimee. Overall I did enjoy it, just not my favorite.

Lori Wilde can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to write. She even went to nursing school so she could have a schedule flexible enough to allow her to write on the side. She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.

She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later dis...more
