Recommends it for:
those with indiscriminate superhero tastes
This all-ages Avengers book is nice, simple fun. I enjoy turning my brain off and reading continuity-free superheroes. This cobbled-together Avengers team (some Avengers, some X-Men, one Young Avenger) is an odd choice that seems driven by inclusivity (have Storm: she's a woman and she's black!). I like how Tony Bedard uses Loki as the "big bad" behind the villains in this book. He could easily get rid of Captain America, but he's the Trickster, so he likes toying with the team in...more
