It's written by Alyssa Satin Capucilli and it's not the Satin that made bad choices and yelled out that he wants to do it and he lied about he'll do good stuff but he did not and Jesus said that he would go to earth and die for us.

Biscuit and the girl's dad and the girl went to the big city and Biscuit met lots of friends and they saw lots of big towers. And Biscuit saw lots of pigeons and and found the fountain. He ran past the fountain to their friend's Jack's Snacks place and ran off to there...more

This is another fun and easy Beginning Reader book in the Biscuit series by Alyssa Satin Capucilli and Pat Schories. These books are short, with simple and repetitive narratives and the illustrations are adorable. Our youngest loves that she can read these stories all by herself.

Biscuits visits the Big City is a story that captures the life of a little girl who is walking her dog. The children can relate to walking their animals and how the animal is curious and inquisitive. It also helps children as they first start reading on their own. Small, simple words are used, and repetition of small sight words are also incorporated into the story. Great Book for advancing kindergarteners or first-graders.

I didn't really like this book. It is a good beginner book, but it seemed kind of pointless. It tries to show a lesson like don't venture away in a place you don't know, but it's a very quick lesson. I might read it if I only had 7 or 8 minutes in a young class to read that day.

My 3.5 yr old daughter loves the biscuit books. They are very simplistic. But the constant woof woof is a little boring for mom reading it 100000000 times. :-)

Great reads for smaller children. My niece was learning to read and loved trying to read these and feeling great when she was able to!
