Cut & Run is the first book in the Cut & Run series and I was totally blown away! I’d never read anything by authors Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux so wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but seriously… it grabbed me from the first page and never let go. Cut & Run has turned out to be one of the best Romantic Suspense books I’ve read this year, and has become one of my favorite M/M romances, too.

Ok, let me do this short and nice because there are too many GREAT reviews about this book.
Let me say (and pls don't kill me) that I didn't love this book. I liked it, A LOT, but didn't love it. I looooooved their love story but the case they were working on was kinda boring for me and I knew, I freaking knew who the bad guy was!

I didn't know what was wrong with it but I couldn't get into the story. It felt dragging on and on. I had books that were longer or more complicated but this one, I couldn't feel any sympathy or feeling for the characters at all. BETTER THE SECOND TIME AROUND!!! Having the liberty to skip some of the murkier, over-complicated, drawn-out parts and not lose the overall story is a gift. And, being reintroduced to characters I’ve already come to know & love…feels like experiencing your first time all over again w/o the awkwardness of being a virgin! :)

FBI agents Ty & Zane are less than thrilled to be partnered up to investigate a possible serial killer. They are both considered somewhat troubled by the bureau, so on the surface is seems like a partnership made in hell. But, before long the two men have grown incredibly attached to each other, and learn that they work very well as a team.

I should start by clarifying that I really liked this book. Mainly because of the two main characters, Ty and Zane. They were mostly successfully portrayed and the chemistry between them was more than intense. The overall story was well-delivered and it kept me interested the entire time. Wow, what a roller coaster ride this book has been for me. It took me until the very end to decide if I liked it or not. I really did like it, but there were a few problems: it was slow going at times, especially the first 100 pages or so. Also it was a little lengthy. Finally, it could have been a lot steamier.
On the positive side, I am madly in love with Ty and Zane!!! OMG, they are so hot and really funny. (Especially Ty!) What more can you ask for? Also, the last few chapters just blew me aw...more

I'm not a big fan of super involved crime suspense novels, but I heard about Cut & Run, heard it was a crime novel with some M/M and put it on my 'tbr' list. Then I started reading, didn't like the beginning and put it on hold after reading the first two or three chapters.
Months later I found lovely friends here on GR and they all seemed to be big fans of the Cut&Run series. They encouraged me to try it once again with the book and and what can I say? "Guys, I love you!"

I don't know what to say about this book that has not already been said, and probably better then I could communicate. So I will say I loved this book, and from what I have been told by numerous GR friends, that the books get better and better...really? how? I am officially hooked

This book came highly recommended, so I was quite disappointed when I finally got around to reading it. This could have been a really good story, instead it was the literary equivalent of a summer blockbuster movie, complete with requisite car chase/slow-motion car flipping over scene. Um I'd like to start off with cursing the author for her choice of serial killer!!!! Not ruining the book for those Ty and Zane virgins out there..... Really? I mean so obvious it was bad. I was like no way it can be "@&$." Anyways, that's the reason for 4 stars. Love Ty and Zane. Love their rugged tough masculinity coupled with their intense desire for each other... How they fought it and finally " gave it up." I'll move on to the next book for sure.

Thank you to the people who said to ignore the next book I had planned to read and read this instead. I really enjoyed this. A lot of reviewers have said that it took them a while to get into this, but that wasn't the case with me. I enjoyed this from the beginning. The banter between Ty and Zane was great, and I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times.
