If this is the book I'm thinking of, then it was included as part of a package with Fein's Social Psychology 6th Edition. This was the better part of the package.

The book contains full text printings of important journal articles in the history of social psychology. They are probably most useful when used together with the main textbook, but even on their own they are a great resource.
