Hmm.... I'm not sure how I feel about this volume. I don't really like the direction the story is suddenly going in. But, we'll see how it goes. Perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I'm also a bit angry I wasn't paying more attention when I decided to read this series because it is not complete yet. I hate waiting for books to come out...sigh...so it looks like I'll be doing just that with this series. Oh well.

This book seems to be the start of the final sub plot so to speak, the start of the last battle/ghost collection which is going to span over the final three books. So this one is the build up towards it, revealing some secrets and misunderstandings of the town. It's one that you're going to HAVE to read the next book straight after, and it's definately not one you can come to if you've not already read the other five books.
I did not enjoy this one as much as the previous novels in the series. I didn't feel the art work was as good and the costuming of the main character was not as interesting. Also, much of this story had to do with buying a present for Diana and Diana seemed weird -I don't know. It just didn't seem put together as well as previous entries.
Teen graphic novel. I only just started reading this series (and this is the only volume I've read) but I found the story to be interesting and funny.
UPDATE: I've now also read v. 2,4 & 5. The writing is still ok but I've decided that I mostly just like the imaginative cosplay-inspired outfits that M. Alice draws for Dinah.

Wow- LeGrow kicks into high gear with this one. It's really good, but I'm a little worried that her gently unfolding story will get lost in some kind of epic plot.
Anyone know when the seventh one comes out?
