Андре Моруа - один из моих самых любимых писателей. Не знаю, читала ли ты, но две его вещи мне очень нравятся: "Письма незнакомке" и "открытое письмо молодому человеку о науке жить". Они есть в Библиотеке Мошкова, если заинтересуешься.
"Письма незнакомке" он написал в 50 лет. а "молодому человеку" - в 80. Конечно, некоторые вещи он говорит со своей колокольни, цитирует своих учителей, ту свою культуру. А его изречениями можно изъясняться сколько угодно. Цитата про ошибки - она из "письма молодому

The first half was fairly pedestrian, but the second half was quite inspiring. My only complaint is that the translator consistently leaves passages untranslated. I'd frankly like to slap them for this nonsense.... I'm reading an English translation because I cannot read French you lazy ass! Translate the entire text!
