This book opens with an unconvincing fertility ceremony, from which time period, I'm not sure. The ceremony is interrupted by a storm which brings down a plane from the future... yeah! Had I liked the characters I would have kept going, but I just can't bother to finish this one right now when I have so many other books waiting to be read.
