Man, let me start by saying I love Barney. He is the best EVAH. The book is funny, but I have to say that the audio makes all the difference.
This guy have this way of saying the nastiest things and yet, I find him charming as hell.

I got this ebook from my Boss. Cool, isn't he?

Well, the book was really entertaining. So good that I could imagine Barney lecturing while re-enacting his tricks! But the problem is, some parts of the code are not suitable for some readers. In fact, some people might find these parts offensive. So I am just recommending this book to my fellow bros out there. Tired? Stressed-out? Grab this book now and make life more awesome!

The Bro Code isn't particularly funny to somebody like me who saw people his twin brother's university bro-kin crash and burn in one of the ugliest On The Road-like episodes of my life. I read this book while I was waiting for my sister to finish her last class so we could leave together, and it took me around an hour and a half. I actually read all of it through in one sitting position!

If you watch the show "How I met your Mother", then you're not going to really get anything new... pretty much all the jokes and codes have been mentioned. So, it's not quite as wonderful as I had hoped. However, I am relieved that the author's did stay true to the show. Instead of gushing or ranting like I usually do, I figure I'll just give you a few rules 'you ought to be living by'... if you want to be a bro (and yes ladies, the book answers our question... we, too can be a bro!)

Almost feels like cheating to count this one towards my yearly reading goal, seeing as I listened to the audiobook and it took less than two hours total.

The writing is airy and entertaining. Some points in the book made me laugh because how well they revealed the truth in unwritten behavior between men, others because they were so ridiculous.

The physical book seems like it would be a good for a coffee table, or the bathroom.

I'm being generous with 3 stars, it's a 6 out of 10. Now don't get me wrong it IS very funny and very entertaining, and essential in every bro's repertoire. A fast, funny read. I laughed so hard and rolled my eyes so many times, I'm surprised they didn't roll right out of my head!

The book is short - only a paragraph per page. Perfect given the fact the author's target audience is men. =)

As a MASSIVE fan of How I Met Your Mother (amazing comedy on E4 I think, in the UK anyway!) i knew i HAD to read this no matter what thoughts and reviews people tried to change my mind with!

The Bro Code is a book written by Barnabas Stinton a LONG time ago (yeah, if you believe THAT!) and Barney Stinton is his descendant after copying the orignal book onto a copy so he has it incase anything happens to the old on(!)

The infamous Bro Code. I was really excited when I was able to check it out of the library and read it - pretty much on the spot. It's a fast, funny read and pretty much a must for anybody that likes Barney Stinson. Some of the rules included were quite hysterical, others so dumb that I shook my head a few times, wondering if men actually do such things. All in all, I enjoyed myself.

I was looking for something easy to read and asked my brother to loan me this book. It was a super fast read for me (took me around half an hour) because it's basically just a book of "guidelines" and the language is really simple.

This is basically a book that tries to be funny by playing around with guy / girl cliches. Nothing very elaborate or all that funny. I like the "How I Met Your Mother" series so I was a bit disappointed with this, even if I kinda expecte More...

Shortest book in the world to read, a few sentences to a small paragraph on each page. Large type, and supplemented with diagrams where applicable. I thought it was hilarious, and a lot of it could (technically) be applied to real life.

Although this book is clearly aimed at fans of How i Met Your Mother, I read some of it to some people who had never seen the show, they still thought it was hilarious.

One of my most and least favorite things about the show has been the complex changes made in the character of Barney Stinson. The Bro Code. Brilliant. Innovative. Hilarious. A must have for all Bro's. Even female bro's (Cause according to Article 22 there is "no law that prohibits a woman from being a bro")

This book was a quick, funny read that is a must for all How I Met Your Mother Fans. It also contained some very useful information.

As someone who has tries to enjoy any story he can read, watch or hear I love when a character can captivate and entertain seemingly everyone who takes in the story. You really need to have a sense of humour to read this. I personally loved this book, because I also watch the show associated, I’m not plugging so if you know what show I’m talking about...yeah that one.

I picked this up to see if I could safely rec it for high school boys. I've never seen How I Met Your Mother, but I still really, really laughed at this. A lot. It is deliciously feminist in its complete and total embrace of sexism. Um. That sentence might not make a lot of sense, but I can't really think of a way to phrase it better.

I am going out and buying this audio book. The book is obviously a laugh riot, but I really don't think you can appreciate it without hearing the esteemed Mr Harris read it aloud.

Oh my gawd with the funny. I don't believe I stopped laughing through the entire thing. I may start using the terminology I heard from this in everyday conversation, including the abuses of the word Bro, such as "Bro J Simpson".
