I loved this book, definitely one to read over and over. Brown is a master of endings, and everything that leads up to them. What I find intriguing is that his plots and sentences are often complex and deftly woven, but what really lies beneath are simple, but exquisite, explorations of human ties and interactions.

Brown is a master of the art of short-short fiction. Each piece is as satisfying as a whole novel, and as full of love, longing, strangeness and humor.

An excellent flash fiction collection. Each flash stands on its own, and the juxtaposition makes the whole picture breathe. It's a fast, satisfying reading.

This is a collection of what Randall's done so far, and it's a very good book. I've been reading his work online for years, and he works as hard as anyone to improve and try new things. If you think this one is good (and it most decidedly is) wait until you see the next one. I'm betting it'll knock our collective socks off.

This is a nice collection, a showcase of very short fiction at its best. Some of the stories are truly great, although the author often uses language in such a way that I had to read some stories twice to understand them. I appreciate deftly woven sentences as much as anybody, but there's only so much of them I can take. Overall, nice collection, recommended to readers and writers of (very) short fiction.
