A nice story about guilt but the style was unimpressive.
I felt it was much better than Eating Women is NOT recommended though.

This was a pleasant surprise. I bought this book because it was cheap at a second-hand store and the author's name caught my eye (at the time we were considering Eílís as a name for our daughter). I was delighted to find that the stories were startlingly original and well-written. They're full of dark humor and surprising turns, with a sometimes mythological feel that reminds me of Angela Carter. I'm not much of a reader of short stories but these captivated me.
