This book follows the misguided adventures of a superficial cartoonist, who's reading of social situations leaves something to be desired. His social fumblings are looked on by his aging Labrador, Elizabeth, my favourite character. As the book progresses he develops a realisation of some of the consequences of his actions but still manages to remain cocooned in his own world.

Overall an enjoyable and fun read.
