Very good, but the circularity makes my head spin. This is a manga adaptation of an anime that was originally based on a manga. Thus, it's a complete retelling of something that started out as a manga in the first place.
That said, it's a lot of fun, with a 10-year-old wizard who must face the greatest challenge of all...teaching English to a bunch of Japanese girls, all of them young teens.
The story is largely a school comedy, but there are bits of serious fantasy, as he learns that More...

I didnt really buy this book i read it in the library and didnt expect much of it i was doing it just for fun so when i read it it actually turned out to be very very good i loved it and i even read the second volume in the same day but i didnt buy it becuase i chose to buy before i fall by lauren oliver but this was a very good read

This series is basically an adaptation of the Negima!? anime, which is an adaptation of the Negima! manga. The first volume is very similar to the first volume of Negima!, with a bit more back story on Negi and a bit less fanservice. Also, the plot is simplified and accelerated, with some alterations on characters. The crisis to find Negi's father is definitely prevalent, but the evil that Negi fights is much less dark and ominous.
