The purpose behind this book is to help the reader understand and stimulate the right side of the brain, which is most active in creativity. She gives examples of many people in many different fields of work, not just ones that are traditionally thought of a artsy or creative. She also includes 67 exercises that will help tap into the right side of your brain. Ideally, a person would do 11 exercises a day for 6 days in a row. A good book to affirm the right brain and its importance in creativity. I especially enjoyed the interviews and personal examples. The exercises were interesting but would require a lot of work. It would be better to take a class to incorporate the lessons in these exercises, but they were worth reading through to the end.
