This book so far is fantastic! I think its based on a good story line and one of my friends recommended it to me so i am going to reed the book. Also it is a very easy story line to follow.

The Worry Website is Mr Speed the class teacher's idea of a Web site for his primary school pupils to write their worries down anonymously and then get help with solving them from their peers. Jacqueline Wilson has linked the worries of six children in the book through six short stories, and a seventh story is contributed by 12-year-old Lauren Roberts, winner of an online competition. Each story refers to the other class members, so that they do not sit in isolation, and "Greg's Worry", the seco...more

Ketikkan Masalahmu:
Mungkin dia nggak rela kalo kasih sayang ayahny...more

This is a book of short stories based on the lives and worries of seven pupils in Mr Speeds junior class. Due to circle time being a bit embarrassing for particular students to talk about their feelings, Mr Speed came up with a brilliant idea called ‘The Worry Website’. When each pupil was allowed their allocated time on the computer they were given the opportunity to write whatever they wanted onto the worry website and wait for the responses from their fellow classmates with advice and views o...more

The worry Website is a great book by Jacqueline Wilson. Based in Mr.Speed's class, the pupils in the class are provided with a website where they can post their worries anonymously and get advice from their class mates. The book focuses on the stories of six pupils in the class, their worries and their story. One of the great things about the book is that the characters are linked in a clever way.

This book address problems children face on a daily basis, and being from the children's point of vi...more

Ni buku lucu! Ceritanya ttg seorang guru yg membuat situs namanya situs masalah.

This book is about a teacher of a class creating an online anonymous site where his children can write their worries and comment on other class mates’ worries. Each chapter describes a different child’s worry, which in the end gets resolved at the end of each chapter. This is usually done by talking freely about their worry. The second to last chapter was written by a child who won a competition, this happens to be the saddest chapter of the book. This book I feel enables children to understand...more

Realistic Fiction - Once in a while I enjoy reading short stories and this was a perfect book that had numerous short stories that wove through one another. I appreciated the creativity of the teacher to have a webpage that children could go and write their worries on-- with the opportunity for others to comment and provide support and suggestions for solving the worries. I also loved the hidden worries that you don't realize children might be suffering from when they enter your class. Very welc...more

Tapi, dengan pergaulan sehari-h...more

There are a TON of books by Jacqueline Wilson on that list of top 100 or 200 books everyone should read. I'd never heard of her until then. She writes juvenile books and my library had a few. Also my daughter's teacher has wants her to read longer books. So, I figured I'd pick up one and check it out. It's a super quick read and it was pretty cute. It tackles some tough problems that kids have in a funny and age appropriate way and I very much liked it. I'm definitely passing it on to my daughte...more

This is both a fun and serious book to read. The worries of the children are worries real children face - step-families, first crushes, failures, etc. And not all the worries can be resolved so easily - usually the children have to learn to accept the problems that are beyond their control and get on with their lives as best they can. But the stories are written in an up-beat manner and you feel there is still hope and happiness despite the worries!

I'm currently reading The Worry Website. This story is many chapters on different peoples worries. The teacher comes up with a website for the class to post their worries on. Many different people have different worries like getting a step mum or their mum is having a baby. This book is OK but could be a bit better. To people who like this author, I'd advise you to skip reading this book.

Ya...

The premise is interesting; a simple, reassuring read for 3rd and 4th graders. Easy read for advanced readers looking for a distraction and interested in writing for young readers.

One fact I found really interesting is found in the ATA:" Jacqueline Wilson lives near London in a small house crammed with fifteen thousand books."

This book is all about people’s worries, children and teachers. It is like an agony aunt, where you can post advice on the website. I like this book because I could relate to people’s problems in similar situations.
Good for people and children going through problems in their lives.

My friends and I have an experience using worry box a few years ago. We did it on schools in Aceh after tsunami. Since most schools in Indonesia don’t have internet connections so instead of having a worry website, we use worry box. It’s a box made from a chalk box where students can put their worries inside the box like “I cannot sleep well last night because it’s been raining all night and it made me scared”, etc. Teachers will read the children’s worries and try to solve the problem with them...more

This book details the worries of several children, all members of Mr. Speed's class. It's an interesting format, as the children all enter their worries through a website, then go on to detail their problems. The problems range from boken families to disability, and cover a good deal inbetween, and, as ever, Jacqueline Wilson deals with the matters in frank, emotional and honest ways, whilst keeping the book entertaining.

This is a good story, with quite a nice feelgood end to each 'mini-chapter'...more
