Such a beautiful book that gives you great insight into the planning of "Star Trek".

An interesting book that looks at a lot of the work done by the guys behind the scenes in the making of Star Trek:TOS. This means a lot of examples of the original sketches for designs of spaceships, sets and outfits, where these still survive. There is some evidence of padding the book out a bit with a lot of photos of what some of the people did for other movies and TV series, but mostly it stays on topic with some great images. It does go some way to explain why Star Trek:TOS looked so cheap ...more

An excellent book detailing the studio details of costumes and designs of the original series.

This put you right into the creative process of the Original Series. From models of the sets, the evolution of the Enterprise, uniforms & prop production. Very good.
