Becker is a warm, devout, and knowledgeable tutor on how to conduct pastoral visitation of the sick. He doe not explain a Christian theology but assumes it so that he can focus on discussion of the practice of pastoral visitation of the sick. His description of the practices are most helpful and can be ported to Christian faiths other than Lutheran.
