Checked out of the library on a whim where I saw it displayed. It was okay. Most of the recipes were filled with items way out of my modest food budget and in quantities for families much larger than mine.
There were a few simple recipes that caught my eye. Linguine with walnuts, Braised broccoli, Marinated butternut squash.
It was an amusing evening read and did inspire me to make my own version of giardinara.
