the book was short and it was about 1 day at raven lake. The book was okay but i don't like how it was just 1 day at the lake because he went fishing then he saw something big in the lake he thought it was nothing but when he saw weird looking rodents and the old man told him a story about the lake that it is cursed every 25 years. He still didn't believe so then at night he look out the window and saw deers he thought they were just going to drink water but then he saw 3 weird looking wolves. ...more

Read this book so that I could recommend to students. I liked the story, organized well and I know some students will like it. A good hi/lo book for the struggling reader. Would like to get more like it in the library.

I have been a fan of stories for about as long as I can remember, but I did not start writing down my own stories until I was well into my 20s. I currently work as an elementary school librarian in a Minneapolis suburb and have a great life hanging out with my wife and two kids, taking vacations with them whenever I can, and writing as much as time allows.
