Say Hola to Spanish at the Circus is a fun, inventive story that teaches kids Spanish vocabulary related to the circus. The illustrations are fun, and the circus is lively and visually interesting. The Spanish words are all accompanied by images that help to pair the word with the object or subject, which helps the reader learn quickly.
This book incorporates basic Spanish into a circus setting, while explaining what the words mean. This is a book that I might have a Spanish speaking student help me read to the class, and let them talk about language and culture. Otherwise, it is a fun book that any class would be interested in!
This book is a good bilingual book. Its taking place at the circus, the illustrations connect with the text. It also rhymes! The rhyming of this book is what gives it the laughs and giggles because of the way the text is written. I think its a good selection for a multicultural book.

This book is great to read if your doing a unit over Mexico. The students could use this book to point out the "m" sounds and the "p" sounds. Giving the students a card with the letters "m" and "p" would be a great way to check for understanding.
