While I have liked this whole series, this book is my favorite. It is quiet and understated but the love that Brance and Caleb have for each other is palpable. I am hoping that the series will continue as I am interested in anna and her kits.

This was my least favorite of the three. It was missing the element of life-threatening danger that I loved about Beneath A Yankee Sky. On the other hand, it was a very romantic story. I was waiting for the angry mob from the nearby town to come riding up with torches and rifles to rid the woods of the menacing werecat threat. This didn’t happen, but the introduction of Anna May raises some unanswered questions about Brance and Caleb becoming bobcats on the full moon. Her and her situation
