    <body><![CDATA[I've read a few of the stories so far.  Of course picking the juiciest first.  <em>Jack</em> is about a man who met New Crobuzon's beloved Jack Half-a-Prayer and <em>The Tain </em>, one of the creepiest, Richard Matheson-esque novellas I have read in a long time.
