The author here is Bob Raczka who does the very creative art appreciation books for children. His choice od descriptive words for winter are great. A different choice of illustrator could have made this book a real winner.
Winter seems like so much fun in this book, with cups of cocoa and sledding, etc., it's easy to romanticize the season. This is Lucas' first winter walking, so I'm excited to make it a festive one for him.
Adorable simple text descriptive words, rhyming fun...with connection to ground hog day at end. Found displayed in my library among wintery books.
Going to try it on the 2s and 3s at this week's story hours. Then I'll see if I need to move my rating up.

A lot better than I expected it to be. Should be fun for little ones, but this isn't a snowy part of the country so it might be lost on many.
Single related rhyming words make up the text in this delightfully colorful illustrated book showing kids having fun in the snow.
