We attended a science program at a local library that discussed finding animal tracks, scat and other things like owl pellets. Our oldest spent a loooong time dissecting owl pellets during the program and even brought some to share with her class at school; she loved it that much. So when she saw this book (as well as Discovering Owls by Robert Burton), she was very excited to learn more.
