Andy Warhol is one of the most compelling figures of the twentieth-century art world, and his body of work has transformed the landscape of contemporary art. As well as being a prolific artist, Warhol was a notorious hoarder, saving everything that came his way in Time Capsules, boxes he kept beside his desk and into which he carefully deposited photographs, newspapers and ...more

I wanted to learn more about what the attraction was with Andy Warhol. The layout of the book was quite interesting with images of his work on one side and description and brief background info on the opposing page.

I think if you are a Warhol fan you will enjoy the book, but I was still baffled after going through it

What a wonderfully weird book which is an auto-biography combined with a typical book showing an artist's work. Each spread shows a work of art or illustration related to Warhol's life on the right and commentary on the left. It bounces around a bit from a time line standpoint but provides an excellent review of the man, the artist, and his work. The weirdness actually keeps you interested as you move through the book. I wish there were more books like this one on other artists.

Great book- Illustrations are very good. Gives you a full prospective of Andy's life. Shows more then the actual Andy Warhol museum does in Pittsburg.
One of the best collections of Warhol in a book.

This book is easy and fun to read. It is well organized and has fantastic pictures. It gives a thorough account on Warhol's life and career, and I may have to read it again.
