These books are very entertaining and will keep adults and children alike happy for hours. I highly recommend them for waiting rooms and road trips. Be aware, however, that the pages are relatively fragile. Don't give them to a child under the age of six unless they know how to be gentle.

A childhood favorite that continues to keep you coming back for more. The quirky and idyllic scenes are entertaining and intriguing, and I often find myself forgetting to find Waldo, in favor of studying what characters are doing on each page instead. I recommend this to everyone, of all ages.

Martin Handford, the man behind the mind-boggling Waldo books, began his career as a freelance illustrator specializing in drawing crowd scenes. The turning point came when he was asked to create a book showcasing his impressive talent, and the character Waldo was born — originally to provide a link between each scene.
