This is the very interesting story of a sixth grade teacher accepting the challenge from her class to run for office in Nevada. She chronicles her naive run for Congress and her attempts to balance it with home and school issues. I enjoyed reading about her education in the political system.could be a good book club book because of its comments on our political system and our educational system, as well as the life of a single mother of three trying to live on a teacher's salary.

This is a book about changing the world. If you feel like an underdog, you will be encouraged by the story of Tierney Cahill. She is an outstanding woman and a powerful educator. I thought this book was fantastic.
