This is the very interesting story of a sixth grade teacher accepting the challenge from her class to run for office in Nevada. She chronicles her naive run for Congress and her attempts to balance it with home and school issues. I enjoyed reading about her education in the political system.could be a good book club book because of its comments on our political system and our educational system, as well as the life of a single mother of three trying to live on a teacher's salary.
You know this book is great it shows how one ordinary person can go from a everyday hard-working American to a canditate for congress she has a inspiring story and I am glad I can get up every school day and she is teaching history at our high school great person to be around and amazing to learn from.
