A great book for my short commutes - I can do a few riddles every ride and not break up a narrative or long train of thought. Probably about a third of the riddles are only simple computation, which is a disappointment. Some of the logic puzzles are just longer computations, but as the book progresses, the mix appears to be getting to better concepts. I love the tricky probability puzzlers and can only wish there were more!

Not bad -- a third of the puzzles feel like algebra or logic problems you'd find in a textbook, and there are entire chapters in which Smullyan is presenting new (albeit fascinating) ideas in logic rather than solvable puzzles, but there are an equal number of gems in here as well. Good for a long road trip with a nerdy friend.

It wasn't bad but many of the math puzzles were just basic arithmetic. Also the idea of coercive logic puzzles was an interesting one but it led to many arguments when I tried to discuss it in larger groups.
