A book I got for free from one of my education classes. It was one that was supposed to be reviewed, but wasn't one I finished or actually submitted a review for. Probably a good thing.

Not only was the book fragmented, it often seemed rather offensive. The author's attempt at dialect was excessive and demeaning more than anything. Twelve Travellers Twenty Horses is a great book! I recommend it to any one in the third grade up. It is educational, thrilling, and it is also SUCH a page turner, I couldn't put it down. Some people do say it is offensive but we all know this is what happened when Lincoln was president. It could've said how almost all slaves were treated and say they were whipped and that they had torn and tattered clothing but it was a great story of more of family instead of slaves and their master.
