Wow! This was a fantastic book! Intense, passionate, well-written. I found both characters complex and compelling. Their bond was so emotionally powerful, I couldn't stop reading about it. And the payoff makes it all worthwhile.

There's just something about this book. I could not put it down. It was a bicker-fest, but a hot one. Both were stubborn characters. I still enjoyed this book even though the plot was thin as paper. The step- brother kidnaps the step-sister to keep her from ruining their parents relationship, which is not really the reason. The real reason he kidnaps his step-sister is he just has the hots for her and wants to seduce her. Other than that there was very little plot...yet the steam level made this...more
Wow... this is an example of Lynne Graham at her finest. IMO her older M&Bs just can't be beaten for sure inventiveness and stories that are packed with the most blistering passion and intensity. Her older books also have the feeling that they are treading the fine line between taboo and PC, and this book has that in spades.

I'm hereby granting this book the Penny Jordan Romance Award for Hero Douchbaggery and Heroine Spinelessness. I dunno, perhaps in the right mood I would have enjoyed the drama, but the level of humiliation and pain the hero inflicts on the heroine just turned my stomach. Him calling her a tramp after she had almost been raped was bad enough, but then laughing at her when she tried to explain... and that's only the start of the good times. When I read this book first, I wasn’t knowledgeable about our dear little goodreads, and therefore, wasn’t in the habit of writing down what I thought about my books, I’d only make a note of how many stars (coincidentally also on a 1 to 5 scale) I thought to give it.
I just reread Angel of Darkness and stand firmly by my 4 star rating (I generally reserve 5 stars for books that, along with all the elements this one brought, also manage to squeeze a tear or two out of me). This book didn’t make me...more

the plot is same as Crime of passion but this book was horrible then that,Angelo is one cold,mean,abusive,selfish and Kelda god i fail to understand why she took all the humiliation and abuses hurled at her

Bukan cover yang ini, cover bukunya mills and boon, lupa terbitan tahun berapa, sekitar 98-99.
Ternyata... cover tidak menggambarkan isi, belum lagi judulnya yang kurang nyambung sama cerita.
Tapi lumayanlah, buat dibaca di waktu luang ^_^

Oh my god this book was a mess! I had a very hard time connecting with the characters in this one. Both characters were too one dimensional. All the annoying bitchy heroine was saying was "Shut up" and "I hate you" and the hero for some reason was just creepy to me. One of the worst books I ever read!

Yeah, there was a lot of cruelty in the book, and I do HATE it when the H can't even tell the h is a virgin, but I still liked this one. LG just does the emotional angst well. And you can tell that the H loves the h, even when he's awful to her.

Bagus, enak dibaca, jalan ceritanya jg bagus...cuma di pertengahan waktu kelda lg hamil terlalu berbelit2 untuk kasih tau angelo ttg anaknya, cuma ebook inggris kata2nya banyak yg ga gue ngerti, romance.

One of her better ones.
it's verry good book
The hero of this book is a mean, abusive jerk and the heroine a door-mat. I would recommend staying far far away from this book.

good
It's a quintessential step sib romance that is a must read. One of my very favorites from Lynne Graham. They have a good amount of tension and a right amount of sparks. Their parents married twice and they found themselves at opposite stance in both situation. To solve the problem, he whisks her off to his private villa and poof they couldn't escape their mutual attraction.
