recommends it for: Everyone, Christians, busy moms,
I really love how Jen Hatmaker has introduced bible study to the busy mom/woman.

The book isn't a very complicated read and really helps excite, encourage and enrich the bible study experience.

This is a must read for anyone who finds bible studying daunting and I guarentee as you read this and find yourself laughing, you will also find yourself excited and encouraged to read God's word.

recommends it for: Bible study groups
This is a good book which teaches the fundamentals of Bible study and journaling in a humorous way. I did it as part of a group and found the most of the other members of the group weren't ready to do all the work that is suggested by the author here, but if you do truly wish to learn about inductive Bible study tips and how to apply them, this is a good overview.

The cover throws you off but it is worth reading and working through the study guide if you struggle to know how to do personal Bible study. Anyone can read it, Bible scholar or someone picking up the bible for the first time. Probably best suited for people who have been around the Bible but do not study it.

recommends it for: Christian women trying to figure out their study life
She is so real about what it is like to be a mom and try to get our priorities in order with Bible Study. She clearly does not take herself too seriously. I laughed out loud on many occasions!

Best book I have found on having effective time in the Word on your own. It truly CHANGED the way I spent my time studying the Bible. And the author is witty....sweet bonus. Love it!
