As the story opens, Bernie Bridges ( the protagonist ) was introduced. Bernie is a student at Rotten School. He plays football as a quarterback in the team.
He does not like to lose a match and thinks he is the best. Bernie has two friends, Feenman and Crench.

From the first pages the humor of the author ( R.L. Stine ) was pretty good for several reasons. First, Stine can bring something funny from nowhere. For example, this following part of the book, " The quarterback should be brilliant, quick,

Unlike the first three books in the series, Bernie doesn't have very many schemes up his sleeves in Lose, Team, Lose!, besides for getting a girl to join the football team. The plot has a faster pace than the third entry, but while there are a few jokes here and there, I thought the humor was lacking. Nevertheless, Rotten School: Lose, Team, Lose! is still a fun read (well, a reread for me) for both kids and adults.

I've never been a fan of R.L.Stine - back in the day I wanted to like Goosebumps but I found okay just a couple of them, the rest being mediocre at best - but I have to say this Rotten School - as far as this book goes - works better. This grotesque comedy is kind of funny and the great artwork brings alot of Garbage Pail Kids vibe to it. Some jokes are still an eye-rolling fest but overall I enjoyed it. I'll probably look for some other books in the series.

This book is a very entertaining book about the ''trouble kids'' wanting the football team to lose for their own benifits. It's the type of book that has all those new made of words you have never heard and makes no sense when you do. It's keeps your attention and is very humorous in a way. I would reccomend this book to people, because it also gives a good message in the end.

Guess what I learned in Ms. Skermont's class? Humans are warm-blooded. I also learned about vertebrates. Slugs are invertebrates. There were no slug races in this one.
