Awesome book for little children : action rhymes

A collection of action rhymes complete with illustrated instructions on how to perform the appropriate actions. I was mostly happy with this book; some rhymes are included that did not have accompanying actions.

The selection is good and includes many favorites and the cast of children characters that play across the pages of the books are ethnically diverse.

This is a good resource book for parents, teachers, librarians, and anyone who works with young children.

Great collection of toddler/preschool rhymes and songs! The book contains cute illustrations of kids of all nationalities. This book also includes pictures of the actions that are associated with some of the songs and rhymes, which is especially helpful if you are a parent, caregiver, teacher or children's librarian.

This book is a great resource for adults, but can function well at a lapsit storytime between parent/caregiver and child.

After looking through this book, I may have to purchase it myself. It would be great to use for infants, but also for toddlers and young childen. It has many different songs and rhymes that depicts children of all cultures (which would be good to have in a classroom). It would be great to use this is the classroom setting or at home for pleasure. This book was in our text in chapter 4 for finger rhymes and nursery songs.

This is a great book to get ideas for different poems to use in the classroom. You can use these poems in the hallway when waiting for students to line up from the bathroom. It will keep the students minds occupied. I would also use the hand actions in the book. This will keep there hands occupied as well.

This is a great book for learning actions to songs and common rhymes. They show little pictures along side the words to show how to make the different shapes. This is a perfect book for parents of young children so they can learn and teach the songs to them. Plus the illustrations help too.

This book had a lot of fun rhymes to read with younger children. It also had nice simple illustrations for the actions that go with most of the rhymes. The kids (2 and 3 yrs old) really enjoyed doing the rhymes in this book.

An excellent book of popular action rhymes. Gestures for adults to show children provided in little pictures alongside the words. Great as a baby gift.
Lindsay
Lots of awesome rhymes and fun illustrations to classics. I only wish some of the actions were clearer.
