One, Two, Three is a clever children's picture book illustrating the concept of counting. The book was written and illsutrated by Sandra Boynton. The book takes the reader through the first ten numbers in sequence. (1-10) The book utilizes simple and clever activities that children could relate to. The book also uses a great rhyming scheme to keep the interest of a young reader. The illustrations are also wonderfully created, and add to the effectiveness of the book. The colors are bright and vi...more
This board book full of dancing hippos, athletic pigs, and running chickens is a humorous counting story. The rhyming text is short, but funny and gives the reader a bit more to talk about than many counting books for this age group
Boynton’s signature illustration style is in fine form here as her anthropomorphic animals cavort through the pages. The animals change from page to page, so you won’t be counting the same things from 1 to 10. Kids will also be familiar with her characters as they can...more

One, Two, Three! By Sandra Boynton was a fun read for anyone in first grade or kindergarden that used the numbers one through ten to illustrate what pigs would do with each number. For example, five bigs are perfect for car rides and eight are great for a hockey team. Although the pictures were simple and dull in color, the text was exciting and made you wonder what was next. The text rhymed with each number all the way to ten.

Boynton (1993) tells us about different things you can do with different amount of friends. It is a counting book up to number ten. I can use this in my classroom to teach them how to count to ten and show them different things they can do with their friends.
This book is great for counting the numbers 1-10.
Cute Sandra Boynton counting board book.
This is a counting book, so, if you know how to count, you know the drill.
It's a lot funnier than most counting books and, bonus, pretty durable.
I really recommend this book to anybody who has not yet (shock! horror!) bought anything by Boynton. Those who *have* don't need *my* advice anymore, do they?
