It is a novel, not a cookbook, but my sister the full-on foodie insists that the recipes all look workable, and what could be more perfect than a story about New Orleans that incidentally teaches you how to make white chocolate bread pudding and jambalaya?

It’s difficult to improve on the original publisher’s description– “This is a novel about sex and sexuality and race and madness and violence and fine dining. Not necessarily in that order”—but I’ll try.

FANTASTIC!!! You can tell that Richard Katrovas lives in New Orleans, he was right on!
Read about an eight of the book. Just simply could not get into it!
A novel of such subtle power that you never realise you've been gone until tears or laughter bring you back. Humanity, integrity, passion and a noir humour combine to deliver an empathetic tour de force. What can I say - I liked it so much I republished it.
Have read 3 times so far...definitely a keeper.
An interesting study in character development, language flow...super Novel.
Part New Orleans guide book, part creole cookbook, one amazing story of life change and realization. Love!
