I wanted to get back into lifting, and I needed to be challenged. This book is all about lifting heavy weights, and hard. No fluff, you will be doing squats, deadlifts, bench, and military press as the foundation of every routine. I am spending over 1.5 hours at they gym four times a week following this routine--and it's kicking my butt. Not finished reading yet, but this seems like a decent book for a growing teenage football player and his 40+ year-old dad that want to train together. The focus is not on looks, but on developing strength and speed. The dad has neither.
