This book was great (even if it was a collection of pieces from his show). There is such a delicate balance between a Darwin award-esque tales of bone headed criminals and journalistically brutal attacks on those who lie and mislead (notably Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Reilly). Some may think he attacks too often and can often become petty but I found most of his attacks extremely well founded. The only time he may 'go overboard' are in the cases of these repeat offenders named above ...more

Ahhhh…..politically savvy and attractive. Could there possible be a better combination for a commentator?!

All kidding aside, this book was what I expected. A fun collection of Olbermann’s picks for “worst person in the worrrrrrrrlllllllldddddddd” in book form.

I had hoped there would be a little more—I had hoped to see some of his written writing style (as opposed to his writing style for broadcasts). But alas, no such luck. It seems to be primarily a re-print of his spoken ...more

Despite my massive love and devotion to Keith I got bored with this book. The majority of it was transcripts of his Worst Person in the World segment. They are very funny but after a while I really need a narrative rather than page after page of one-paragraph stories. Mixed in among this were transcripts of Keith's famous Special Comments. These have always been my least favorite part of his show. I appreciate & enjoy his commentary but he acts like Moses delivering the 10 Commandments when ...more

<sigh> For some reason unknown even to me, I adore Keith Olbermann so I really wanted to like this book. Unfortunately, it wasn't funny, witty, clever, or really worth reading at all. I was so disappointed. The only reason I'm even giving it a second star is because it's broken up into small bites that take very little time to read so it works well if you're a bathroom reader the way everyone in my household is.

Hilarious and often mind-boggling... it's amazing how under-endowed some people are with common sense, compassion, and integrity. Olbermann skewers them articulately with mingled outrage and bemusement. A funny read, at the same time it made me worry about what kind of system we live in that allows people like those he describes to reach positions of power where they can cause a lot of hurt and chaos.

What a fun read!! tho difficult to read in one sitting -- TOO much information about the goofballs (moreso Olbermann's frequent targets throughout the book, not the single incident boobs) who take too much of our energies. Thank you, Bill O'Reilly, for being such an ass, and giving continual examples of why you rank high on Olbermann's list.

I love Keith Olbermann. However, this book is just a reprint of the "worst person in the world" segments from past shows. Not much new is added to this collection, but it is fun to reread his commentary.

I LOVE Keith Olbermann, but I was a bit disappointed in the book. It is essentially a collection of transcripts from his show on MSNBC...

It's all a take off of his show, but it's still hysterical to read. Keith Olbermann... I don't know what I'd do without Countdown.

This book was fun to read. Mr. Olbermann is a liberal and hates George W. and you can definately tell with this book.

I love Keith Olbermann, but this book was serious overkill on the Worst Persons in the World Segment...

Quick funny read. Sort of like the Darwin Awards without the death and with a political spin.
