O yea! Ok get this straight, Derek Jeter is the best baseball player ever! Well, in my opinion anyways. I do admit that this book does have some knowledge to it, like say Kalamazoo is where he went to school and got B.B.P.J.Y in his junior year =].

this book since i have been reading it has been ispiring to me because, i love the game of baseball, and it said that young men should never give up on there dreams. Derek Jeter in the book said that he is living proof that dreams can come true.He live around the corner from yankee stadium and he always wanted to play for them. Know he does.

Obviously, Jeter had some help writing, but his voice sounds pretty consistent in all the books I've ready by/about him. It's interesting to read about the 10 guidelines that he's lived his life by and even more interesting that he doesn't sound crazy-obsessed with winning or that his self-worth is tied up in it. I also like that his books are aimed at young adults and that he seems to genuinely try to be a good role model.

I like the Yankees so i figured i would read about some of the players. It was an okay book but it seemed to drag at points. It was very detailed but it seemed to drag at some points. the pictures in the book were really cute. this book really shows how dedicated Derek Jeter is to the Yankees, and his love for the game of baseball.

I loved this book. Derek Jeter is one of my favorite baseball players and I thought it was really cool how he'd dreamed of playing for the New York Yankees since he was three years old and he followed his dream and achieved it. He has a great story that a lot of people can connect with. My mom bought me the book when I was younger and I didn't like to read as much as I do now. I finally really started reading it when I was in seventh grade. It was phenomenal.

Extremely biased review. Definitely one of the classiest guys ever. Because of my love for baseball, the Yankees, and Derek Jeter, I loved this book. If you are even a "hater," there is a chance you may still enjoy this book. Not the greatest story, writing, or anything for that matter...but it inspired me and allowed me to know what drives one of my heroes.
