This series is one of my guilty pleasures.

In this case, perhaps, more guilty than usual, as I confess to have read a pirated e-copy. I bought the first 14 volumes of the series before it went out of print. If anybody ever gets around to re-releasing volumes 15-18, I promise I'll buy them...

The Horseclans series is probably the best blend of fantasy and SiFi I have ever read. Pretty much something for everyone in these books. Great characters, epic storyline, fantastic writings. My highest recommendation
