This is another cute little short by the author, with a lot of humour that leaves you smiling. Danny has gone out to a movie with his best friend Jen and is now hoping he survives the drive to a local restaurant with her, as they are nearly killed just getting there. They finally settle in and his friend starts on her usual lecture about needing to get him a man as she is happily settled down now. Danny denies he’s looking or need...more

This is a cute short story about that feeling of anticipation during first meeting and setting up a first date. There are flirts and well, increased heart beats. The whole story happens in a restaurant - it feels like watching a short segment in a movie. VERY good :). It made me smile when I read it, and I was reading in a public transportation -- and I was sure people were worried when I started smiling brightly and chuckled a little bit.
Reviewed by Amber: The only thing I can say about this one is there wasn't much of a story. It didn't entertain me. I'm a fan of shorts, but this one didn't grab me like I hoped it would.
