I have a different (older, translated into English) book version than this one. Very good read that puts Amerigo in his proper place as discover and also as pilot major for Spain's dominance of the seas that led to future success in exploring the New World. This book goes into all his steps to this point in detail, and debunks the lies that put him as a usurper of the Genoese Columbus and his fame rather than as a friend and helper to him.
