The book Amazing Snakes is a book that tells you all about snakes and what they have to do to live.

The book Amazing Snakes is a description book about snakes and there life. The pictures in the book are really photos of snakes, which make it hard for me to book at the book. This book would be easy to read out loud to your class. You...more

I read this book to my first and second graders and they absolutely loved it! The pictures were vivid and clear and the book included lots of interesting facts. In addition, there was a glossary that explained meanings of words that students may not know. I thought this book was awesome! I loved the colorful pictures and the fascinating facts. My favorite facts from the book are: Snakes do not chew. Snakes do not blink or have eyelids. Snakes don’t need their parents to survive. Some snakes eat crocodiles. Some snakes are almost as long as a school bus.
Not my cup of tea, but Lola loves snakes. This is one of the better non-fiction snake books we've read.
Good photos and info. for lower level grades. Good addition if seeking extra books on the subject.
