I didn't like this book. It was poorly written and does a poor job of explaining information for a beginner in the Objective-C and Cocoa worlds. Also I found some frightening code examples that are just plain bad. I didn't make it past chapter 6; I had to re-do nearly every exercise because of how poorly explained they were. Instead I would recommend the Apress "Beginning iPhone 3 Development" by Dave Mark and Jeff LaMarche.
